MILWAUKEE BREWERS ORGANIST…
DEAN ROSCOE… TO PERFORM PROGRAM AT ALLEN ORGANS CHICAGO ON SATURDAY FEB. 15.
DOORS OPEN 1:30pm. CONCERT BEGINS AT 2:00pm.
The Allen Organ showroom was a magical place for two concerts on October 12 and 13. David Gray delighted the audience with his first performance exclusively for CTOS BRAVO members and the second performance on Sunday for the entire CTOS membership in general. His tuning and set up of the Allen TO-5Q was brilliant as were the entirely different musical programs of both concerts that only a one of a kind genius could prepare and perform. Thank you!
David Gray, Internationally acclaimed theatre organist from Scotland, will perform at Allen Organs Chicago on October 12 and 13.
A very special evening is planned on October 12 for the very generous CTOS “Bravo Partners”. They will enjoy a very special private event to meet the artist, hear a unique program crafted just for the evening’s attendees. The evening begins with a wonderful dinner at the showroom followed by a photo/autograph session. There will be opportunities for lucky members to win multiple signed copies of David’s latest CD entitled “80 Shades of Gray” which was recorded at the famous Sanfillipo Residence. It will be a stunning, memorable evening for all.
It’s not too late for you to become a Bravo Partner. For a donation of $100.00 or more you and a guest will be invited to this outstanding “meet the Artist” evening. Please contact Mr. Lee Maloney directly at Allen Organs Chicago or gather more information at ctos.club “news/events”. Reservation and check must be made by October 5th.
Allen Organs of Chicago proudly hosted a unique Theatre Organ performance by artist Tedde Gibson on Sunday, August 25. Tedde is one of the few musicians comfortable playing jazz, gospel and classical music and he fully utilized the magnificence of the Allen TO-5Q. What made the performance memorable was his use of theatre organ combined with The Hammond B-3 for an organ duet. Being a sought after silent film accompanist, he delighted the audience with a treat when he accompanied the Harold Lloyd film entitled “Hand to Mouth”.
Tedde has studied under some of the most prestigious names in music and has traveled and performed from the east to west coast. It was a pleasure to have the Vice Chairman of the Board of the American Theatre Organ Society with us here in Chicago.
